I originally started this blog in 2008 to document the adoption of our son, Tyler. At the time, we had nicknamed him "the Duke" - thus the Website name "Picking up the Duke". If you're interested in adoption from Vietnam, check out the early posts.

Thanks for leaving the comment Laura...we've been thinking about you all as well this week. I can hardly believe it's been 2 years already!! I would love to visit with you and get these kiddos together again sometime.

I feel the same - I can't believe it's been two years already. It's been fun looking back at the photos and videos from Vietnam. I just chuckle because developmentally Ana Kate is still leaps & bounds ahead of Tyler in all areas. That's one thing that hasn't changed since we were in Vietnam! Great; to hear from you.
